The Black Ballad - Chronicles of the Crossing - 5E Purgatory Setting

So, last night we had our chaotic launch stream (and like most streams, it was filled with behind the scenes chaos and watching Rick short circuit in real time).

You could actually watch the modem noises go off in my head due to audio feedback at one point.

BUT! We march on into day 2! One thing that was mentioned in the stream was: Black Ballad themed cocktails. So, I'm officially adding this stretch goal: If we get to 300 total backers, we will have our authors write up cocktails and mocktails for The Black Ballad universe and slip them into the novels!

We are almost at our goal for crowdfunding to turn these books into a reality, and then we can start dropping fun updates with new artwork of things that come next!

Another topic that came up during the live stream was A.I. Art Director James Mosingo made a solid point and wanted to let everyone out there know that it's a hot topic at the moment, but it's in all our ST Forge contracts and we can assure everyone: Skynet is not involved in the creation of our projects.

Alright. I know we are crazy by coming back to crowdfunding 18 friggin' months later with BOOKS of all things. It's not dice, it's not minis, but actual fantasy novels.

Screw it, I loved the vampire clan novels, the Legend of the Five Rings novels, and the Dragonlance novels as a kid...so we made it happen as adults!

We are having a fantastic first launch, and I think we can hit the goal on day one, which would be stellar (mostly because I also want to hit stretch goals and have a chance at writing more TTRPG content!)
